“Colpodi fulmine," the thunderbolt, as the Italians call it. When love strikes someone like lightning -- so powerful and intense -- it can’t be denied.
It’s beautiful and messy, cracking a chest open and spilling their soul out for the world to see. It turns a person inside out, and there’s no going back from it. Once the thunderbolt hits, your life is irrevocably changed.

Personally, love at first sight to me is being swept off your feet and catapulted into some limbo for an extended amount of time. Everything appears intoxicatingly nebulous. Eventually, however, once clarity -- certain demands of ordinary, everyday existence -- jolts you back to your staid reality, dysphoria takes over and you fall hard on your butt
It’s like being windswept, the kind that induces temporary lapse of reason, akin to some intensely colorful but highly discombobulating acid trip
What about you? How would you define "love at first sight?"
