A perfect song for breakfast

One morning just when I was about to eat breakfast, I noticed an old song by Billy Joel, “Just The Way You Are,” playing on the radio.  Suddenly, a joyful smile etched my face, because the song reminded me with great assurance that God sees me as also perfect just the way I am.

Therefore, instead of seeing myself filled with judgments, I realized that I should just simply see myself as God sees me – perfect just the way I am.  Certainly, God holds none of these judgments.

So I smiled even more whole-heartedly, said a prayer of gratitude, enjoyed my breakfast and spent the day sharing the wonder of who I am and who I chose to be, as well as promising to myself that I will adopt this empowering attitude from that day forward.

Please note:
I very much appreciate my articles and photos appearing on fellow bloggers' sites, popular broadsheets, and local broadcast news segments, but I would appreciate even more a request for permission first.
Thank you!
